  • Played key role in doubling museum membership during expansion.

  • Executed annual and rolling membership renewal campaigns for a major fine arts museum and a large performing arts center.  
  • Helped son’s school exceed $150,000 in annual giving for two school years 2006-2008.

  • Served on Capital Campaign Leadership Team, Co-produced capital campaign video, built teams, solicited major gifts, and designed web site, helped raise more than $2 million in pledges and support of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, congregation of 400.  Greatly surpassed campaign expectation of $1 million.
  • Managed capital campaign telemarketing data program for over 50,000 prospects.

PLANNED GIVING

  • Helped establish planned giving programs for two large arts based non profits.
  • Segmented, targeted, created personalized appeals from mass data.
  • Contributed to comprehensive strategy of mass communication, group seminars and personal appointments.
  • Created personalized deferred giving scenarios for prospects.
  • Designed charitable gift annuity system for internal processing of annuitant payments and preserving accurate institutional memory.

ONLINE GIVING

  • Designed, and implemented successful online major donor and membership programs.
  • Created series of successful public relations and marketing email blasts, integrated with web pages and blogs.  Generated contributed income,  automated additions, corrections, and client-created updates to the donor database.

NON PROFIT LEADERSHIP

  • Founder and President of Soundworks, an award winning 501C3 performing arts ensemble dedicated to performance excellence and community service.  In 2010, Soundworks grew its membership, won its 5th consecutive singing contest, released its first CD, and operated at a profit.
  • Conceived, wrote, directed and produced four stage musicals that utilized as many as 140 volunteers and staff.  Raised over $100,000 and generated substantial contributions to benefit co-sponsor charities.
  • Created Time Travellers tracking system for Virginia Association of Museums.
  • Created pro-bono speaker’s bureau management system for Virginia Performing Arts Foundation. 
  • Designed suite of web sites that both inform the public and serve the membership with key set of internal tools for musical education and performance improvement.
  • Secured performance engagements with Special Olympics, American Red Cross, Virginia Society of Association Executives and many others.
